6" fitter Glass Shades

Helpful Information:

Keep in mind..... 
 .....the fitter referenced for glass shades (such as a 6" fitter) refer to the size of the shadeholder and not to the exact size of the lamp shade.  The glass shade will measure slightly under the "fitter" size to allow the shade to set in the fitter and not on top of the fitter.  So, a 6" shade will actually measure between 5-3/4" and 5-7/8". 

These shades can fit on a complete tripod with ring or on just the tripod.

 These are most commonly used on small oil lamps. They are also used on some student lamps and even on some pole lamps and hanging lights.
